Doubling Christmas baubles

Teacher instructions: Cut and laminate the baubles. Give children a bauble each, and the doubling cards. Children should represent their number by drawing dots or snowflakes on one side of the bauble. Then, they should draw the same number on the other side of the bauble to double it. Last, children should use the stem sentences to describe what happens to each of their numbers as it gets doubled. B&W printing possible.

They could do so by drawing dots in each half, or by drawing snowflakes, until the number given is shared equally between the two groups. Then, children should use the stem sentences to describe what happens to each of their numbers as it gets halved. B&W printing possible.
